A fine Adelaide Hills Chardy from the Kenton Creek vineyard, thanks to a superb vintage for the region. Fermentation was in French oak barriques, 25% new, with half the juice seeing only wild yeasts. Malolactic fermentation followed with time on lees. A gleaming yellow/gold colour. Richly composed, there are still some oak notes evident, but integration is afoot. Tropical notes, with stonefruit and beeswax. Supple, layered and lingering, this is delicious. Enjoy now and over the next three to five years.
